The team

Team ELIAS emerged in 1984 as amateur with Manuel Cardiel participating in national and regional championships until 1992. It was this year when Team Elías settled down as a team and began to compete, supporting several pilots. It won its first championship of Spain in 1993. The current structure of the team was established with the arrival of Alejandro Latapia and Siro Calvo, professionalizing the team and inaugurating the new facilities dedicated to the automobile competition exclusively.

After almost twenty years of professional trajectory, and with a record really enviable, Team ELIAS has become a referring of its sector, with facilities and human equipment completely dedicated to the promotion and competition.

Significant pilots like Luis Miguel Reyes, Luis Carlos Maurel, José Luis Muniesa, etc., have driven for the Team ELIAS in national and international championships like the Citroën Cups, Renault, Fiat, 24 Hours of Resistance of Barcelona, Rallies, etc. Recently, they have been selected by the RFEA and Repsol with the project “Racing for Spain”, to develop and to direct the professional trajectory of two young brilliant pilots, who will arrive at Formula 1 in the future.

The next years, Team ELIAS will face an exciting challenge to consolidate in the European level. Team Elías begins its international trajectory participating in the new championship from Renault, the Renault Mégane Trophy Cup. A significant championship and pilots, there we go…
